Bookazines July-December 2024

There’s nothing like making magazines that people consider worth a read or keeping around for years to come. Being able to include illustrations from Erik Reichenbach and Jef Castro, plus essays and images from Neal Preston, has been a bonus. For the Horses issue, I got to work with People colleagues Rennie Dyball and Susan Young, along with mini-horse enthusiast Mia Zanzucchi. For the Gone with the Wind special, there is a modern and needed essay from NPC critic Eric Degas. For the Billy Joel special, Mara Reinstein and I were able to interview members of Billy’s band and include images from tour photographer Myrna Suarez. To top it all off, Chuck Arnold spoke to Billy!
